April is Autism Awareness Month.
In recognition of this month and of autistic people and their families worldwide, I have made these candles which will be sold and all proceeds will be donated to the Autism Faith Network.
Since 2016, AFN has helped to create awareness about autism by working to eliminate stigmas about autism, encouraging acceptance and inclusion of autistic individuals, and helping families navigate how to make church and faith more accessible and inclusive to the person with autism.
They also provide sensory kits for families/churches to help soothe the sensory overloaded person.
These candles have a very light lavender scent and are not meant to be burned for aromatherapy, rather as a reminder of our autistic family and friends and their daily struggles.
